Theme of the Cohort Mission: Change Our Hearts: Our Lenten Prayer
“Be careful what you allow to dwell in your heart.” What good advice. What dwells in our hearts? Peace, joy, love, compassion, or resentment, anger, shame, feelings of unworthiness? Lent is a season for a change of heart.
OurCohort Mission focuses on the goal of a changed heart that loves more on Easter Sunday than on Ash Wednesday. Through prayer and celebration of the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist, we will reflect on God’s gift of unconditional love and how we might receive it and allow it to shape our hearts and guide our lives. This is our Lenten Prayer: Change our Hearts.
